FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers on GST, income tax, company registration, fees and how we work. Still have a question? Just ask.

Do you work with clients online or only in Kolkata?
Both. We serve clients across Kolkata and West Bengal from our Central Kolkata office, and we also offer Virtual CA services — GST, income tax, accounting and advisory delivered remotely over phone, WhatsApp and video for clients anywhere in India.
What documents are needed for GST registration?
Typically PAN and Aadhaar of the proprietor/partners/directors, a photograph, proof of business address (electricity bill/rent agreement), bank details, and for companies/LLPs the incorporation documents. We confirm the exact list based on your business type.
What is the difference between the old and new income tax regime?
The new regime has lower slab rates but does not allow most deductions (like 80C, HRA). The old regime has higher rates but lets you claim deductions. Which is better depends on your income and deductions — our free calculator compares both, and we help you choose the right one.
When is the last date to file my income tax return (ITR)?
For most individuals the due date is 31 July following the financial year; for taxpayers requiring audit it is usually 31 October. Dates can be extended by the government — we track them and remind our clients.
Can you help if I have received an income tax or GST notice?
Yes. We review the notice, explain what it means, and prepare and file the appropriate reply or representation — for income tax scrutiny/assessments and for GST notices and litigation.
Can you prepare a project report or CMA data for a bank loan?
Yes. We prepare bank-ready project reports, financial projections and CMA data for term loans, working capital and MSME/Mudra loans, including the viability and ratio analysis lenders look for.
Do you register companies and LLPs?
Yes — Private Limited, OPC, LLP, partnership and proprietorship, including DIN, DSC, name approval and all MCA filings, followed by ongoing annual ROC compliance.
How are your fees decided?
Fees depend on the scope and complexity of the work. We discuss your requirement first and agree the fee up front, so there are no surprises. Please contact us for a quote.
Do you work with content creators, freelancers and NRIs?
Yes. We regularly handle GST and income tax for content creators and freelancers (including foreign income, collaborations and presumptive taxation), and tax filing and advisory for NRIs.
How do I get started?
Call or WhatsApp us on 096745 91735, or send an enquiry through the contact form. We'll understand your requirement and tell you the next steps.
